Sports Medicine
Whether you’re a competitive athlete or a weekend warrior, sports-related injuries can slow you down and keep you from participating in the activities you love. Sports-related injuries require special attention, and the sports medicine team is specially trained to treat athletes of all ages.
The orthopedic team at Crestwood Medical Center provides physical therapy, rehabilitation, athletic training and surgical services to the residents of north Alabama. Common therapies given to professional athletes are now available for everyone through the sports medicine program. In addition, for more serious cases, the surgical team specializes in arthroscopic procedures to repair joints utilizing minimally invasive techniques.
