Outpatient and Inpatient Information
Outpatient
After you are discharged, the after-effects of your anesthesia will require that you have someone available to drive you home.
Anyone is welcome to wait for you during your surgery in our comfortable waiting areas.
Keep in mind when making arrangements with friends and family that most Pinpoint Surgeries are relatively brief. Talk to your surgeon about how much time you'll be spending at Crestwood.
After anesthesia, deep breathing and coughing are important to expand the lungs and help prevent pneumonia and promote circulation. Walking is usually encouraged after surgery. Your doctor may also give you a special diet until your body is able to digest food.
A staff person will check on you after your surgery. We welcome any questions or suggestions.
Inpatient
After your surgery, you'll be admitted to a room in Crestwood Medical Center and enjoy the same expert professional and personal treatment that you experienced with your surgery.
Due to the less invasive nature of Pinpoint Surgery, most inpatient stays are very brief. Talk to your surgeon about how much time you can expect to be at Crestwood for your specific Pinpoint procedure.
