Nursing Team
Our nursing staff is the cornerstone of what makes us so special - all have extensive experience in obstetrical care. And though they are an elite team of professionals, they are also a caring family. Their trademark is experience - for example, our 15 Labor & Delivery nurses have a combined 200+ years of experience from some of the most respected hospitals in the North Alabama area. The entire department is lead by a 20 year veteran of obstetrical/maternity care.
For breastfeeding questions, please contact our Lactation Consultant at 256-429-5261. If you need an immediate answer, all of our nurses are trained to solve breast feeding problems. Please call 256-429-5250 to speak to any of our nurses.

Moms who choose Crestwood will love the added extras: A dedicated entrance at the Crestwood Medical Pavilion featuring valet parking from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. There is also ample convenient parking after hours and weekends.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
This equips us to care for sick, premature and low birth weight babies. We're prepared to care for you and your baby in the event that you to into labor early. We can give newborns advanced care and support from an expert team neonatologists and specialists. With infant warmers and temperature-controlled isolettes equipped with vital-sign monitoring equipment. Neonatal Nurses also support you and encourage you to play an active role in the care of your baby.
