The Alabama Chapter of the ALS Association, in partnership with Crestwood Medical Center, strives to ensure no one is alone in their fight against Lou Gehrig's disease or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Crestwood hosts the region's only ALS clinic, which provides an interdisciplinary care program for the management of ALS.

The ALS Clinic allows ALS patients to see multiple Clinical staff all on one clinic day including a Neurologist, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Respiratory Therapist, Registered Dietician, Speech and Language Therapist, and Social Worker. Consults are available with a physician from a variety of specialties, including Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, ENT, and Psychiatry/Psychology.
ALS patients with a confirmed diagnosis who are registered with the Alabama Chapter are eligible to visit the Clinic by appointment.
