Crestwood Celebrates National Nurses Day
Huntsville, AL - Crestwood Nursing Leadership Group recognized Crestwood Nurses today, National Nurses Day. A special reception was planned for May 6, from 11a – 2:00 p.m. and again from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. An awards ceremony was be held at 11 a.m. to recognize all Unit Nurses of the Year. Nurse and Nurse Manager of the Year was also announced at the awards ceremony.
Chief Nursing Officer, Martha Walls, RN, said the Crestwood Nursing Leadership Group looks forward to planning the Nurses Day celebration each year and recognizing their fellow team mates for the outstanding work they do every day.
“The nursing team at Crestwood do a tremendous job each and everyday providing quality and compassionate care to our patients,” said Walls. “Nurses Day is just one day out of the year that we celebrate all nurses and recognize those who have gone above and beyond.”
