Allen Recognized by the Alabama League for Nursing

Diane Allen, a Crestwood Medical Center nurse, has been awarded the Alabama League for Nursing Lamplighter Award. The ALN recognizes exemplary nurses who have displayed evidence of high ethical standards, leadership, quality patient care, and promoting research and education within his or her profession. Allen is a leader in the education department of Crestwood and is currently guiding the Congestive Heart Failure clinic. She has worked at Crestwood for twelve years, previously working in emergency and critical care at Vanderbilt and Centennial Medical Centers in Nashville. Allen has also served as an adjunct faculty for UAH and Belmont University, teaching in the clinical specialist programs.
