Nothing matters more than your baby’s healthy arrival. That’s why Crestwood’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit provides extraordinary care for premature infants and, in all kinds of pregnancies, so many mothers trust us with their babies.
Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) serves critically ill, premature and low-birth weight babies, treating them with specialized care and attention by our highly trained staff of neonatal care specialists. We also value the benefits that having family and friends present during times of crisis can bring, and believe that loved ones are essential members of our NICU team.
Crestwood Medical Center’s NICU features infant warmers and temperature-controlled isolettes equipped with vital-sign monitoring equipment. Our dedicated team of specialists and Neonatal nurses with over 270 years of combined experience support you and encourage you to play an active role in the care of your baby.
Pregnancy, labor and after birth conditions treated at Crestwood’s NICU include:
“I can’t say enough about the NICU nurses at Crestwood. Our daughter was born at 34 weeks and was in the hospital for the first 13 days of her life, and boy was she spoiled rotten from the start, even down to a little purple bow in her hair. The NICU nurses gave us so much care and compassion and even hugs when needed. The nurses educated us on so many things that no book could ever teach you. If you choose to have your baby at Crestwood and it happens to be admitted to the NICU , your baby will receive the best care possible.”
