The month of October is recognized nationally as Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Crestwood joins the effort to educate women in the community about breast cancer by stressing the importance of detecting the disease in its earliest stages through screening mammography.
	Crestwood is an active participant in the  community emergency preparedness efforts of our local EMA.
Crestwood supports area nursing schools including the UAH College of Nursing. Each semester over 100 UAH nursing students complete clinical rotations at Crestwood.
